Recreational Boating

The municipality has the largest number of marinas and boat storage facilities in southern Brazil, with a privileged location on Paranaguá Bay. Easy access and proximity to the islands of the bay draw recreational boating enthusiasts to Pontal do Paraná. The marinas have excellent infrastructure. Most of them offer their own leisure facilities, in some cases including lodging and dining services open to the public.
