Family Day brings leisure, sports and health together in Pontal do Paraná

Family Day is a free community event organized by the city government to bring residents and tourists together through leisure, sports and services.

Rather than a fixed holiday, it works as a series of activities held in several editions throughout the year, usually at the Events Center in Marissol.

Social integration: the event brings together different generations - children, young people, adults and seniors - in a welcoming space to spend time together.

Health and well-being: it offers vaccination stations (flu, Covid and the routine immunization schedule) and sports workshops such as yoga, judo and taekwondo.

Sports and social causes: it often includes competitions such as the Half Marathon for Autism, beach tennis tournaments and volleyball.

Local economy and culture: it features craft fairs, local food and cultural performances.

Animal welfare: many editions host adoption fairs for rescued dogs and cats.
